Overview
Quectel’s EG915U is a series of the latest LTE Cat 1 modules optimized specially for M2M and IoT applications. It delivers maximum data rates of 10Mbps downlink and 5Mbps uplink. Designed in a compact and unified form factor, the EG915U series is compatible with Quectel’s multi-mode EG91 series, EG95 series, BG95 series and BG96 modules, ensuring that it can easily migrate between 2G and 4G network to meet the needs of different industry applications.
The EG915U series contains three variants: EG915U-CN, EG915U-EU and EG915U-LA, covering the frequency band of different countries and regions. Using a laser engraving process, the EG915U series features a more attractive appearance, strong metallic texture, better heat dissipation capability and durable label information, which makes it ideally suited to automation requirements.
A rich set of internet protocols, industry-standard interfaces and abundant functionalities (USB drivers for Windows 7/ 8/ 8.1/ 10/ 11, Linux and Android) allow the module to serve a wide range of M2M and IoT applications such as POS, PoC, ETC, shared equipment, data cards, energy control and monitoring, security and protection, and industrial PDAs.
