Intelligent Data selects Quectel smart modules for POS and healthcare OEM projects
Quectel Wireless Solutions has collaborated with Intelligent Data, an electronics engineering company specialized in point of sales (POS) and health technologies, on its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) projects within the POS and telecare sectors.
For Intelligent Data’s latest OEM project within the POS sector, the SmartLottery Advanced – ID 42, the company selected the Quectel SC600Y-EM 2+16GB LTE smart module. SmartLottery Advanced is Intelligent Data’s new POS terminal for ONCE – the main Spanish lottery company. It has been developed together with Telefónica, Zelenza and Denso Ten España. The device will be available to 19,000 vendors and about 9,000 physical stores.
The Quectel SC600Y-EM is a 43.0mm × 44.0mm × 2.85mm Cat 6 LTE smart module. Based on Qualcomm’s 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 octa-core processor, it incorporates the Adreno 506 GPU. This high-performance module supports various multimedia functions and offers Quick Charge 3.0 technology, making it ideal for industrial applications that require high data speeds. In particular, this module allows Intelligent Data to meet all the demands of our client in terms of state-of-the-art communications and multimedia compatibility. Thanks to this, the company can combine 4G, Wi-Fi, GPRS, GPS and NFC communications, in an ergonomic and robust device.
Thanks to Quectel, Mimov users can be geolocated at all times and send SOS alerts quickly and easily, as well as communicate with their relatives and assistance services if necessary through calls. The solutions offered by Quectel have enabled us to utilize the latest technologies in the industry for client projects with the reliability and support services of a leading company.

Intelligent Data has also selected Quectel for the Mimov device of its client UNEI. In this telecare sector project, the company incorporated the Quectel MC60E. This is an SMD-type module with a compact profile (18.7mm × 16.0mm × 2.1mm) that is ideal for the goal of achieving a small footprint and highly mobile product. Based on the latest 2G chipset on the market, it is optimized for sending data, audio and SMS in harsh environments. In addition to these features, it is also designed to be used in low-power IoT systems with the demand for precise and sophisticated geolocation capabilities.
Mimov is a telecare device specifically designed to be accessible and easy to use. The MC60E module provided Intelligent Data with all the technical capabilities to address this project without sacrificing the characteristics required for UNEI.
“Thanks to Quectel, Mimov users can be geolocated at all times and send SOS alerts quickly and easily, as well as communicate with their relatives and assistance services if necessary, through calls,” said Carmen Jiménez Lobatón, Intelligent Data. “In particular, the solutions offered by Quectel have enabled us to utilize the latest technologies in the industry for client projects with the reliability and support services of a leading company.”
